Summer Cookout 08 in Dayville

Thanks again to member John Gazzola for a wonderful day by the lake in Dayville Conn. The weather could not have been better. John took honors again for his grilling. Plenty of food and drink for all. Member Kevin Colburn took several tours around the lake with his kayak. We met a number of the Amps guys as well. Great guys.  So many treadheads.....what can I say but Outstanding Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you missed this year, not to worry John has already booked again for next summer.

Our model club was formed in 1968 and is an IPMS Chapter club. We are located in Southeastern Massachusetts with a membership drawn from four different states. Currently our membership is over 60. Our club meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month. Our club newsletter is the Battlewagon and is issued bimonthly. Membership modeling interest cover such topics as; sci-fi, armor, automotive, aircraft, figures, fantasy and ships. Models span all subjects and eras. The emphasis is primarily on plastic modeling. Our membership is drawn from all walks of life with the age ranging from 16 to 70. Each year on the first Sunday of November, our club holds its annual competition called BAYCON. The competition is held in South Attleboro, Massachusetts. The competition is open with awards given for first to fourth and has over 35 categories representing all subjects. All members and non members are encouraged to attend.
